Description

Montrose Airfield, Building 62, was built in 1915 as an airfield building. It is a single-storey structure made of timber, featuring a long rectangular plan with a gabled wing that is off-centre to the east and an outshot to the west. The building has metal-framed windows and a felt roof. During World War II, it was used as the Station Headquarters.
