Description

Earl John Bridge at Glamis Castle is a single segmentally-arched hump bridge dated 1697, spanning Dean Water. The bridge is constructed from rubble with dressed voussoirs and features chamfered ashlar coping. It is 8 feet wide between the parapets, which include an inset panel inscribed with 'E C' 'JS 1697 ES'.
