Description
The Steading at Echt House dates from the 16th and 17th centuries, with some additions or remodelling completed in 1733. It is located in the courtyard of the former House of Echt, which has been converted into farm buildings. The east entrance features a moulded archway that is now blocked and has shotholes. The south wing is adorned with ball finials at the gable apices. To the north, there is an orchard wall made of interesting pinned random rubble, and to the east, there is a forecourt wall.
