Description

The Clydesdale Bank, located at 2 The Square in Huntly, was designed by Archibald Simpson in 1842 for the North of Scotland Bank. This building is a two-storey structure with an attic, constructed from granite ashlar in a classical style. It features three windows facing the square and has a chimney gable that includes a complex arrangement of podia and panels, along with a round arched doorpiece. On Gordon Street, the building has four windows on the first floor and a prominent three-arch feature at the ground floor.
