Description

The stables at Durris House are a classic single-storey building dating from around 1830. The east front is symmetrical, featuring projecting wings and a central bay that is both pilastered and topped with a pediment. Atop this central bay is an octagonal doocot tower. The structure is built from rubble and slate, with granite dressings.
