Description

Park Bridge, built in 1854 by engineer John Willet and ironfounder James Abernethy, features two cast iron arched spans that each exceed 100 feet in length. The spans are constructed in four sections and bolted together, with cross-stays positioned below. The bridge has arcaded spandrels, a wooden deck, and wooden parapets. The approaches and the central pier are made of granite and have a distinctive outline.
