Description
The Castle of Fiddes is a four-storey L-plan tower house constructed in 1592. It includes a vaulted basement, projecting stair towers, and angle turrets. The castle was modernised around 1930. It is a Scheduled Ancient Monument under the care of the Ministry of Works. Details, including illustrations and plans, are available in C & D Arch II, page 142.
