Description

Mountblairy Bridge, built in 1836 by John Smith of Aberdeen, is a triple arched structure that carries a road over a tributary of the River Deveron. The bridge is constructed from coursed, stugged granite and features ashlar voussoirs forming three equal, narrow arches. Above the arches is a band course, and the bridge is topped with a swept ashlar coped parapet that ends in pyramidal capped piers.
