Description
29 High Street in Pittulie is an early 19th-century single-storey cottage featuring three bays and a gable end facing the street. The exterior is constructed of heavily pointed rubble with contrasting painted reveals. The central entrance is obscured by a later lean-to porch that includes a side entrance. There are windows in both the north (seaward) and south (street) gables, with modern two-pane glazing and earlier four-pane glazing present. The cottage has coped end stacks and a pantiled roof that includes a roof light.
Adjacent to the cottage is a single-storey store with a wide two-bay layout, also built of heavily pointed rubble. The entrance is located on the left beneath a raised and swept wallhead, featuring a plank door. The store has small shuttered windows and a corrugated asbestos roof.
