Description
This is an 18th century roadbridge spanning the Lochter Burn. The bridge is a single span with a three-centred arch, formerly carrying a road between Pitcaple and Oldmeldrum. It is now used only by farm vehicles. The structure is built of coursed rubble with pinned construction, featuring tooled squared voussoirs. There are no parapets. The bridge was mapped in 1866 on the first edition Ordnance Survey map.
