Description

The building is a former mill, likely constructed around 1825 by Simpson, and incorporates earlier fabric. It is a low, half-story structure built into the sloping ground. The walls are of rubble construction, with a valley roof and wide eaves, some of which have been cut back. The mill workings have been removed. The mill is shown on an estate plan dating from 1834.
