Description

Harlaw House is a two-storey building, originally constructed around 1843 as a Free Church Manse by William Henderson. It features a three-window façade that is harled with margins, designed in a cottage style, and includes three gablets above the first-floor windows. The ground floor has later additions of bay windows. A four-storey tower made of red granite rough ashlar was added in 1883 as a memorial to Alexander Collie. This tower has a corbelled and crenellated parapet and an angle stair turret, which was also added to the original house at the same time.
