Bank Of Scotland, 55 High Street, New Pitsligo

The Bank of Scotland, located at 55 High Street in New Pitsligo, is a building from the 19th century. The original section is a two-storey structure with four windows, with the third and fourth windows widely spaced apart. It is constructed from squared granite and features quoin angles on the north gable. The south side has three ground floor openings that are consoled. There is a later addition that includes a bay window; this window is rectangular at the ground level and broached to a canted shape above. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest, and the listing applies to both the interior and exterior as appropriate for the building type.
