Description
56 Bogie Street in Huntly is a building that likely dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, with alterations made in the later 19th century. The front elevation features two storeys with a gable facing the road, a central door, and two windows on the first floor, along with a stack at the gable head. The side elevation has an irregular arrangement of windows. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, and the roof is slated. At the rear, there is a taller two-storey, four-bay block that was originally two houses but has since been converted into a store. Additionally, there is a three-bay, two-storey house with a central door, both constructed of coursed rubble with broached dressings. These structures also have slated roofs and rectangular end stacks.
