Description

Lickleyhead Castle is an L-shaped building dated 1629, featuring three and a half storeys on one side and two and a half storeys on the other. The exterior is harled, with a corbie-stepped design and a slated roof that includes pedimented dormers. The castle has angle turrets with ovoid windows and displays the date above the entrance in the re-entrant angle. There is an 18th-century wing to the east, also in an L plan, which has two storeys.
