Description

The Parish Manse in Tyrie was built between 1842 and 1843. It is a two-storey building with a three-window south front featuring a doorpiece supported by consoles. The west gable has one window, while the east gable has three windows, most of which are dummies. Both gables include round-headed attic windows. On the north front, there is a bow stair, along with a single-storey wing. The building was originally harled and is constructed with pinned rubble and granite dressings that have thin margins. An unusual feature of the manse is its 16-pane window division.
