37, 39 Belgrave Terrace, Aberdeen

33 and 35 Belgrave Terrace in Aberdeen are semi-detached houses built in 1904 by John Rust. They are single storey with an attic and feature two bays. The exterior is made of tooled coursed grey granite with finely finished margins, including a base course, entablatured doorways, projecting cills, a dividing band course, and an eaves course.

The principal elevation shows a mirrored pair of houses with three-light canted windows on both the ground and attic floors of the inner bays. Each house has a terracotta finial at the apex of the piended roof. The outer bays have doorways at ground level with panelled timber doors that include leaded letterbox fanlights, flanked by small windows. Above, there are gableted timber dormers in the attic, also topped with terracotta finials.

On the southwest and northeast elevations, the doorways are off-centre on the ground floor, with a central window and an off-centre window above in the attic. The southeast elevation was not visible in 2000.

The houses have replacement timber-framed windows that retain stained glass. The roof is a green slate fishscale mansard with a decorative terracotta ridge, and the houses feature coped stone skews with beaked skewputts, as well as coped gablehead and ridge stacks with circular cans.

The interiors were not seen in 2000. There are low coped granite boundary walls to the northwest of the property.
