Description

A 2-storey rubble former tower windmill with a conical roof surmounted by a finial, situated in a wooded area in the garden grounds of Drumgarth House. The windmill was reconstructed in this location around 1870-1880 and is likely to contain some mid 17th century material. There are rectangular openings at the ground and 1st floor levels and the building has an eaves course and some decorative fishscale slates on the roof.
