Description
This is a 2-storey rubble former tower windmill with a conical roof topped by a finial, located in a wooded area within the garden grounds of Drumgarth House in Aberdeen. The windmill was reconstructed in this spot around 1870-1880 and is likely to include some materials from the mid 17th century. It features rectangular openings at both the ground and first floor levels, an eaves course, and decorative fishscale slates on the roof.
