1-3 Justice Street, Aberdeen

5 Justice Street is an earlier 19th-century, three-storey and attic, six-bay Classical tenement building located in Aberdeen. The building features shops at the ground level, flanking a central segmental-arched opening that leads to Chapel Court. It is constructed from grey granite ashlar, with rubble at the rear. Notable architectural details include a band course, a cill course at the second storey, and a low stepped blocking course.

The central archway has pilastered reveals and is topped with iron urns, accompanied by decorative iron gates. There is a central coped wallhead stack on the street elevation, which has a pair of small window openings. The building also features a pair of attic dormers and recessed entrance doors for the shops.

The upper storeys predominantly have 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the shops have plate glass windows. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped gable stacks.
