Description
116 Queen's Road in Aberdeen is a two-storey detached villa designed by architect Robert Gordon Wilson around 1906. It is paired with and mirrors the adjacent property at No 114. The villa features a two-bay south elevation made of picked ashlar, with a slightly advanced right-hand bay that has a pediment and a four-light canted window projection at the ground level. The windows are mullioned and have plate-glass sash and case glazing. The eaves are corniced, and there is a long rear wing to the north, constructed from Aberdeen bonded rubble. The inner (east) elevation has slightly projecting bays, with the entrance located in the re-entrant angle. The roof is shallow piended and slated, with coped end stacks. The interior was not seen during the last inspection in 1991.
