Description
The Fathers House, formerly known as Rosemount Parish Church, is a Gothic style church designed by William Smith, built between 1875 and 1877. It features a cruciform plan and is constructed of pinned coursed rubble, with an unfinished tower located at the junction of the nave and south transept. In the late 20th century, the interior was subdivided to create an upper floor above the transept.
Adjoining the church is a hall designed by the architectural practice Jenkins and Marr, built in 1889-90. The interior of the church hall was converted for residential use in the 1990s.
