Description
120 Don Street in Old Aberdeen is an early 19th century pair of single-storey cottages that have been altered to function as a single cottage. The building is constructed of rubble and features a steep gabled roof with distinctive brick detailing at the skews. The roofs are slated, and there are end stacks, with the original red brick stack located over the south gable. Unfortunately, the central and north stacks have been rebuilt in modern brick.
On the west elevation facing the street, the south cottage has three bays, with a central door flanked by two 2-pane sash and case windows. The north cottage has two bays, featuring a pair of windows, with the right window originally being a door.
