Description
The statue of Queen Victoria, located at Queen's Cross in Rubislaw, Aberdeen, was created by C B Birch, ARA, and the plinth was made by Messrs Alexander Macdonald & Co. It was completed in 1893. The statue features a square-plan polished pink granite plinth that has the inscription "VICTORIA RI." Atop the plinth is a bronze statue of Queen Victoria, depicted holding a sceptre and an orb.
