Description

The Pier at Skullomie Harbour, built in the mid to late 19th century, is a long, angled structure featuring three inset stairways. It is situated on a rocky islet and connected to the shore by a causeway that is ramped on the harbour side. The pier is a fine example of drystone construction, using large, roughly squared rubble blocks for the walls, with a dressed and neatly jointed upper course that forms the access surface.
