32 Ballintemple Road, Newry, Co Armagh, BT35 8LQ

This is a charming vernacular house located on the eastern slope of Slieve Gullion, overlooking the Ring of Gullion Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house, roughly oriented north-south, likely dates to the early 19th century, appearing on an 1835 Ordnance Survey map. Its valuation records from 1862 and subsequent years show it was assessed at a modest value of 5 shillings.

The house is a single-storey, two-bay structure with a pitched roof covered in natural slate. A rendered chimney rises from the centre of the roof, and half-round cast-iron rainwater goods are present. The rear pitch has a central skew. The walls are lime rendered random rubble. The main elevation faces east. A windbreak porch with a catslide roof and a T&G (tongue and groove) sheeted entrance door projects from the extreme right end of the right bay; the left and right cheeks are blank. A granite seat sits to the left of the porch. To the left of the porch are two windows, one in each bay, both of which are boarded over and have granite cills. The left gable is blank, while the right gable is adjoined by a single-storey outbuilding with a pitched corrugated metal roof and a T&G sheeted door in the centre. The right gable of this outbuilding abuts a lean-to and a further outbuilding of no particular architectural interest. The exposed section of the outbuilding's wall is blank.

The house stands within a small garden area enclosed on three sides by a rubble stone wall. It was recorded as derelict at some point.
