Description

Small single storey/ two bay lodge on seaward side of Rostrevor Road at entrance to Rosetta (HB16/12/013A). Pyramidal natural slate roof with modern boxed timber eaves and half-round metal gutters. Modern cement rendered chimney on the seaward (S) pitch. Walls are dry dashed. The E face contains a small gabled windbreak porch (shares eaves with main roof) and has a modern glazed timber door to front and 1/1 sash window to each cheek. To its left and right are single reproduction 1/1 sash windows. The S elevation has a pair of modern single-paned French windows to left and a single sash window to right (one to left bay, and two to right). W elevation has three 1/1 sash windows. N elevation is recessed under the roof at right and has a single 1/1 sash window to left. No garden. This small house sits close to the sea wall on an exposed site and at the gates to Rosetta House. .
