This is a two-storey, single-bay house built in the mid-1800s, likely between 1840 and 1859. The house is aligned east-west, with its gable facing the road. The roof is pitched and covered in natural slate, with tiled verges and a red brick corbelled chimney on the left gable. The walls are lime-rendered random rubble. The front (north-facing) elevation features a windbreak porch with a pitched natural slate roof, timber bargeboards, and a vertically-tongued-and-grooved (t+g) sheeted door. The porch cheeks are blank. To the left of the porch is an exposed box window with a granite cill, and a matching window is positioned directly above it, with its head at eaves level. The left gable is blank. The rear elevation has a ground floor window opening on the right and two window openings on the first floor. All windows have brick dressings matching those on the front façade. The right gable is blank. The building appears on the 1861 Ordnance Survey map, but not on the 1835 edition. It is recorded as being derelict and has a vernacular style, although it has lost many of its windows and internal fabric.
