29 Clontigora Hill, Newry, Co. Armagh, BT35 8RU

This is a single-story, double-bay house situated on the northwest-facing slope of Anglesey Mountain, overlooking the Ring of Gullion. Likely built between 1880 and 1899, it is aligned northeast-southwest. The house appears on maps from 1906-07 but not on earlier editions. Records in valuation revision books have not allowed for precise identification of the property.

The structure has a pitched roof covered in natural slate, with tiled verges and a brick chimney on each gable and the party wall between the bays. The walls are lime-rendered random rubble with brick trim around the window and door openings, which are finished with a rendered surface. The principal elevation faces northwest, featuring a windbreak porch at the left end of the left bay and in the centre of the right bay. These porches are integrated into the main roof, with pitched natural slate roofs, tiled verges, and pole-moulded terracotta ridge tiles, and are finished with smooth cement rendering. The doors to the porches are missing, leaving blank cheeks. Immediately to the right of the left-hand porch is a collapsed window opening, followed by another window opening. Similar windows are situated on either side of the right-hand porch. All windows have concrete sills. The left gable is blank, while the rear elevation is partly built into a bank and contains a window opening in each bay. The right gable is also blank. The building is recorded as having timber partition walls and is considered vernacular in style.
