Description

This record pertains to a demolished two-storey lock keeper’s cottage that formerly stood off the Hillsborough Road, by the Lagan Navigation in County Antrim. The cottage had roughcast walling. It was surveyed during the First Survey but was not listed at that time, and subsequently demolished. A partial record of the building was made during the Second Survey. Its former use was as part of the Lagan Navigation canal structure. The building is currently considered demolished and is not listed. No particular architectural or historical interest was noted.
