Bellevue, Ballygowan Road, Hillsborough, County Down

Bellevue is a substantial, mid-19th century two-storey house constructed of rubble stone with brick dressings, situated on the Ballygowan Road in Hillsborough, County Down. The design incorporates end bays that are set back, and the ground floor windows are set within elliptical recesses. The house is located in a rural setting. It was surveyed during the First Survey, but was not listed at that time. A partial record was taken during the Second Survey, as the building does not warrant a full survey. Restoration work has recently begun, and the majority of historic fabric has been lost, though the facade retains some architectural interest. The building is currently used as a house and is not listed.
