Description
The Old Stables form a former stableyard within the Down Royal Racecourse complex. This arrangement comprises a courtyard that was originally used for stables and storage buildings. The stableyard has been significantly modified over time and now incorporates several later additions from the latter part of the twentieth century. It was surveyed in the First Survey but not listed, and a partial record only was taken during the Second Survey due to its unsuitability for a full survey. The building’s current use remains as outbuildings.
