Description
This is a single-story church hall dating from the 1890s, constructed in a Neo Gothic style. The building is of stone, using coursed, random rubble of Shist stone, with sandstone dressings. It features a projecting entrance doorway with a shoulder-headed door opening. The hall is set behind a low wall and railings, contributing to the streetscape. It has buttressed corners and a slate roof with decorative ridge tiles. The principal facade, facing onto Park Avenue (off Northland Road), includes a single lancet window, with a Gothic arch window on either side of the entrance door. Four lancet windows are visible on the side elevations. While of local interest, the building does not meet the criteria for formal listing; a partial survey only was undertaken.
