Description

Two arch random rubble stone built each arch approximately 3.6 metre span, almost semi-circular with pointed breakwaters upstream. Width between parapets six metres with parapets one metre high and 13½ metres long ending in metre long pier at each end. Neat stone coping to parapet. On upstream side a 225mm diameter water main crosses supported on steel R.S.J. spanning between breakwaters which have been defaced with mass concrete and concrete block piers. The arch voissoirs are deep and of whinstone
