16 Point Road, Drumahorgan, Magilligan, Limavady, Co Londonderry

The site at 16 Point Road, Drumahorgan, formerly contained a picturesque group of cottages that have since been demolished. The buildings, likely constructed between 1820 and 1839, were originally a group of farm buildings with harled and whitened stone walls and thatched roofs, featuring a sheeted door and three dormer windows with full glazing bars. Historic Buildings Records from 1970 describe the buildings. These structures were considerably extended by the 1970s, before being demolished in the late 1970s or early 1980s to make way for a new two-storey dwelling house with a modern mansard roof, which lacks architectural character. The site is in private ownership and has no listed status.
