Former Flax Mill, Glenedra Road, Fincarn, Feeny, Co Londonderry

The remains of a former 19th-century flax mill are located on Glenedra Road, Fincarn, Feeny, County Londonderry, within the townland of Drumcovit. Visible are the wall supports for the mill wheel and a mill race running along the side of the glen. Notably, there are two mill races running alongside the glen. Although the mill itself has been demolished, its remains retain industrial archaeological interest. The mill is indicated on Ordnance Survey maps from 1830, revised in 1905, for Londonderry sheet 30, and may be contemporary with a nearby mill (HB02/05/018A).
