Description

An Edwardian terrace of three two storey brick houses with slate roofs, one roof light each and brick chimneys. The terrace is on the south side of Main Street near the south west end, and is flanked by lower two storey rendered buildings and a three storey Georgian terrace. Each house has an entrance door in the north east side, with rectangular fanlight window above. Two, two pane sash windows are to the south west, with two similar directly above. A band of blue brick runs between the heads of the windows and fanlight along the ground floor of the terrace. A similar bond runs between windows at first floor. Each opening has a blue brick keystone. At eaves level the ogee gutter is held up by a continuous decorated brick cornice. To the rear each building has a small return with lean-to slate roof. All sashes to the rear have four panes. The return to number 11 is rendered and slightly enlarged. Its end aligns with the back of the much wider Georgian house next door.
