Description

The PEC Building is a modernist concrete block building dating from approximately 1969 to 1971. It was constructed for Expo '71 and is situated within the Malone Lower townland. The building features a brown brick 'basement' level and a perspex clerestory. Originally used as a university or college building, it currently maintains the same function. A partial survey was conducted, and it is noted that the building is not of sufficient interest to warrant a full architectural survey. It is not currently listed and possesses neither architectural nor historical interest.
