The building at 42-46 Ann Street, Belfast, consisted of a three-storey commercial building constructed in two phases, 1929 and 1939. It was designed in an Art Deco Classical style incorporating Egyptian-style decorative elements. The building’s walls were of white faience and featured moulded inscriptions reading “CABLE HOUSE” and "BRITISH MADE SHOES”. The fenestration was arranged in horizontal bands with a pattern of 3:4:?, set between giant order pilasters. The building has since been demolished and replaced with a three-storey red brick commercial building. The listing record is for informational purposes only, and the building is not formally listed.
