180/182 Lurgan Road, Magheralin, Moira, Co Down, BT67 0QS

A vernacular dwelling, likely built between 1900 and 1919, was originally thatched, but subsequently covered with corrugated-metal sheeting. The single-storey, three-bay hearth-lobby dwelling was aligned east-west, parallel to Lurgan Road. It was partially demolished and was gone by June 2006. The walls were constructed of pebble-dashed masonry (brick and rubble stone) above a smooth, rendered and painted basecourse with narrow vertical bands at each end. The principal north-facing elevation featured a projecting windbreak porch roughly centered, with blank cheeks. To the left of the porch were three window openings, and to the right two window openings; the extreme right-hand window retained the remains of a horizontally divided sash window with horns, set within painted reveals and a slightly advanced cill. A door opening existed at the extreme left end of the left bay. The left gable had a window to the right and a door to the left, leading into a former lean-to addition that has since been removed. The rear wall was completely demolished, and the right gable had a door opening set to the right. A 1979 survey described the building as having small paned casement windows and two windows in a Gothick style. The building replaced an earlier structure on the site, as shown on the 2nd edition Ordnance Survey map. It was noted as derelict, and was delisted on 20 February 2014.
