Description
This was a former asymmetrical, two-storey, two-bay vernacular farmhouse, with a traditional arrangement of outbuildings. The farmhouse has been demolished and replaced with a modern house. The First Survey card suggests the original building was constructed after 1859. It was a two-storey house with harled and whitened walls, a gabled slated roof and a central chimney. It featured a small porch for an entrance, and sliding sash windows of Georgian appearance. The original building appeared on Ordnance Survey maps from 1833 and 1859, with the present building shown on maps dating from 1902-03. A partial survey of the site was conducted on 19 December 1970.
