Description

Single storey gabled house with attic, set on the SW side of the Moneyreagh Road, c.1.5 miles N of Ballygowan. Front (NE) elevation has a right of centre PVC door with plain fanlight. To the left of the door are two windows with PVC frames, with a similar window to the right of the doorway. All these front facade openings have label moulding over. The NW gable has two (reasonably large) attic windows with PVC frames (as do all window openings). The SE gable has two similar windows with a small fixed light window to the left on the first floor. This gable merges with the SE face of a long flat-roofed, single storey, rear return with various large window openings. The ground floor at the rear is completely covered with a modern looking flat-roofed extension with a door and two (large-ish) windows. To the right this extension joins to the long rear return, whose NW face has further modern openings. At attic level on the rear of the main house is a small window. The main (original) house is finished in lined render with chamfered quoins and base. Eaves course. The roof is covered in Bangor blue slates with red clay ridge tiles and four yellow brick chimney stacks. Rendered parapets. PVC rw goods. The rear extensions are mainly finished in rough cast. The immediate rear extension (though now modern looking) may have been added some time ago (early 20th century).
