Priory Mearings is a detached, single-storey-with-attic house built in the 1930s, with subsequent alterations. The house is characterized by a steeply pitched roof and dormered windows illuminating the attic space. It has been extended to the rear, creating an L-shaped plan and incorporating a double garage. Modifications and refurbishments have resulted in the loss of much of the building's original character. The property is not considered to be of particular architectural or historical interest.
