This is a two-storey, hipped roof farmhouse, likely dating from around 1870, situated two miles southwest of Cloughy, near Newtownards in County Down. The house has been recently renovated and significantly extended to the rear.

The front, or northwest elevation, features a central modern timber panelled and glazed door with three-pane sidelights and an elliptical arch with a radial fanlight. Flanking the door are two PVC windows with horizontal and vertical astragals and top-hung upper openers. Above, there are two similar windows to the right, and five on the first floor, with a larger tripartite PVC window centrally positioned. The southwest gable has a single window on both the ground and first floors, similar to those on the front elevation. The northeast gable has a single ground floor window without astragals. A large, full-height gabled return projects from the rear, incorporating a variety of PVC windows. A single-storey gabled extension is attached to the return, with a PVC window, modern timber doors, and a timber garage door to the northeast side. A lean-to PVC conservatory is located on the northeast side of the return.

The main house and return are finished with limestone chip render, with smooth cement detailing around the windows, doors, and wall edges. Chamfered quoins are present on the front facade, and a chamfered plinth runs around the entire building. The rear extension combines limestone chip render with smooth render to the southwest side and smooth render to the northeast side. The main house roof is hipped, utilising a mixture of asbestos and asbestos-free slate. The gabled roof of the small rear extension also has a mixture of slates, while the gabled roof of the return is covered with asbestos slates. PVC ogee gutters and square downspouts are fitted. Two centred yellow brick chimney stacks, featuring dentilled corbelling, are present on the main house, while a smaller red brick stack is on the gable of the return. There is a slight overhang at the eaves.

A collection of mainly modern farm buildings are located to the rear. An earlier rectangular building appeared on the 1834 Ordnance Survey map, positioned slightly behind the present main house. Historical records, including Ordnance Survey Maps and valuation records from the 1830s and 1860s, suggest the building’s construction occurred in the mid to later nineteenth century, with subsequent twentieth-century additions.
