The property is set on the S side of Ballyfounder Road, c.3 miles SE of Portaferry. The front façade faces roughly N and is asymmetrical. To the right is a plain timber sheeted half (stable) door. To the left of this are two timber casement windows, with horizontal and vertical astragals. The E gable has a window as front. To the W gable is a small lean to extension with a small two pane window to N face and timber sheeted door to W. The lean-to has a corrugated asbestos roof. The rear is completely covered by a large, modern, flat roofed extension, built on a slight gradient, with various modern timber windows and a plain sheeted door. The façade of the original section of the house is harled and white washed. The modern extension is rendered and painted. The roof of main house is gabled and covered in Bangor blue slates. There is a single rendered chimney stack, with pots, in centre. Large, modern, slate clad flat roofed dormer to rear, with modern timber window. Slight overhang at eaves (c.30cm).
