Site of former No.14 Shore Street, Donaghadee, Co Down

Site, at the corner of Shore Street and Union Street, formerly occupied by a part single, part two storey house of possible pre 1834 construction, demolished c.1980 with new dwellings built in place. The house formerly on the site is described in the first survey of January 1978 as: ‘Single and two storey house. Roofs hipped and slated, chimneys rendered. Walls rendered and painted white. Windows drop hung (no astragals) and recent casements. Doors recent and panelled. Flat pediment on lintel of some openings. Condition fair. Front about 30ft’.
