Description

Spitgrove is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast with a pantile roof featuring coped verges and end brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays, with 12-pane sash windows on the first floor and 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor, all with exposed sash boxes. The central entrance features a six-panelled door, with the top two panels being glazed, and is topped by a flat hood supported by iron brackets. There is a single bay addition set back to the left, designed in a style that conforms to the main structure.
