Description
The Rose and Crown Inn is a 17th-century inn located on Silver Street in Kingsbury Episcopi. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a steeply pitched slate roof, featuring coped verges and brick end stacks. The main block is two storeys and four bays wide, with 2- and 3-light stone-mullioned windows, each with a label. A door opening is set within a moulded surround, topped with a 4-centred arch, and contains paired 20th-century doors. A long, single-storey wing extends from the rear.
