Description

Bishopsmead is a large house, likely dating to the 18th century or earlier, and has undergone alterations. The property presents a three-storey, three-window central block to Kingston Road, flanked by gabled side wings. It has slate roofs, with a hipped roof over the central block. Moulded eaves run along the roofline. The windows are sash windows, with only a few retaining original glazing bars. A doorcase, featuring a pediment supported by pilasters, frames a round-headed doorway leading to a nine-panel door. The north front of the house features a Venetian window and other sash windows with glazing bars.
