Description
The boundary wall and gateway, located about 20 metres north of the Church of the Holy Trinity, dates from the 19th century. It is constructed from ham stone rubble and features wrought-iron gates. The wall stands approximately 1.5 metres high and is finished with roughly squared stones set vertically. At the north-west corner, there are square gate piers topped with shallow pyramidal shapes, along with a simple wrought-iron overthrow and a socket for a lamp. The pair of wrought-iron gates has sharp-pointed spear rails and diagonal braces positioned below the middle and top rails. This structure contributes to the setting of the Church of the Holy Trinity and enhances the streetscape.
