Description
The Lamb and Lion Inn is an inn that dates from the 18th century and incorporates some remains from the 17th century. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble and features a double-Roman tiled roof with a crested ridge and end brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. On the first floor, there are three-light casements with square-paned leaded lights. The ground floor has three-light stone-mullioned windows, each light topped with a semi-circular head and also featuring square-paned leaded lights. The entrance is centrally located and includes a gabled porch with a slate roof and a plank door. The interior has been significantly altered.
